Line 1 Palma de Mallorca Metro

Electrification, signalling and communications installations on Line M1 of the Palma de Mallorca Metro – UIB (Universitat de les Illes Balears) – Palma de Mallorca Intermodal Station.

Main features of the project:

• Safety and communications installations, including two electronic interlockings, extension of the central station in Palma de Mallorca and incorporation of a Centralised Station Control (CTC).
• Telephony of the new stations.
• Catenary system in tunnels and above ground
• 2 Electric Traction Substations
• Installations at Jacinto Verdaguer station: Fire detection and extinguishing system, evacuation route signalling, passenger information system (timekeeping, public address system, teleindicators and intercom), CCTV system, station communications system, access control system (ticket counters, ticketing, turnstiles).
