Syneox is a leader in the supply of energy to any railway area, integrating all the systems involved; Catenary, Substations, Remote Controls and Medium and Low Voltage Distribution. As the main collaborator of Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias (ADIF) and the urban Public Transport Authorities (ATP) in Spain, over the last 50 years we have carried out a continuous development of the power supply systems, until we became the second largest high-speed network in the world and one of the most modern urban transport networks.
Catenary
Syneox is a world leader in catenary system design and installation.
We have our own design of High Speed catenary at 350km/h, with which we have more than 2,000 km installed in Spain and Saudi Arabia (Haramain High Speed Rail Project Mecca – Medina High Speed Railway Line).
We have collaborated closely with Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias (ADIF), in the progressive increase of the speed of the Spanish conventional network -from 160km/h to 200km/h to 220km/h-. Our acquired experience has allowed us to apply our knowledge to areas as different as Israel, with more than 1,000 km of catenary system, and India, with more than 1,500 km installed.
In rigid catenary, Syneox is the largest installer in the metro networks of Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia (Spain).
Substations
Syneox has extensive global experience in the design and supply of Traction and Auxiliary Substations. Depending on the customer’s needs, it provides DC and AC traction substations, outdoor substations, GIS, Autotransformer Substations, Mobile Substations or SFC Substations.
Remote Controls
Syneox has agreements with the main suppliers of existing Energy Remote Controls. In particular, it has collaborated with technology companies specialising in the design of innovative solutions, providing its financial capacity and its willingness to implement new solutions in the wide range of projects implemented.
Medium and Low Voltage Distribution
Syneox has extensive experience providing customised solutions in all types of railway environments, with uninterruptible power supply rings in medium and low voltage through catenary transformers, public utility power supply or generator sets. It has a wide coverage of low-voltage distribution solutions, through the selection of power supply cabinets in technical buildings and on tracks, switchboards, switchgear, lifting transformers, reducers and isolation transformers, UPS and batteries, with special attention to the safe power supply system for the Signalling System.
